Jamie O’Rourke and Brandon Hughes: A Rustic Fall Wedding at Wicked Pony Ranch

On November 6, 2022, Jamie O’Rourke and Brandon Hughes exchanged wedding vows at the scenic Field Arbor site at Wicked Pony Ranch. The ceremony took place in front of the Ranch’s rustic wooden backdrop which was decorated with wheat stalks and fall-colored flowers.

The bride wore a floor-length sheath-cut lace gown featuring a sweetheart neckline and a detachable peekaboo full skirt that cascaded into a subtle train. Her chapel-length tulle veil was accented with lace appliques that matched her gown; the veil was secured with a delicate floral crystal and pearl encrusted comb. O’Rourke carried a bouquet arranged with mocha-hued roses and accented with an array of orange flowers, cream cattails and cream-hued wheat stalks. Her gown was selected from David’s Bridal and her bouquet was arranged and designed by Sister Chicks. Vivian James with Vivian James American Beauty chose a warm color palette for the bride’s makeup and styled O’Rourke’s shoulder-length bob in Botticelli-inspired curls.

The bride chose warm sienna orange hues for her attendants’ attire to complement the harvest-inspired rustic colors of the season. The bridesmaids wore floor-length matte satin gowns in various styles and carried a bouquet arranged with flowers in shades of orange and cream and accented with cream cattails and wheat stalks. The flower girl wore a maxi-length dress with an orange skirt and white bodice with ¾ sleeves; as she walked down the aisle, she tossed flower petals from a rustic wooden basket.

The groom and his groomsmen wore black suits from Savvi Formalwear and boutonnieres arranged with orange flowers accented with cream wheat stalks and flowers. The ring bearer–who was styled as ‘ring security’--wore an all-black ensemble and sunglasses; in lieu of the traditional ring pillow, he carried the bride’s wedding ring in a secure case.

After the ceremony, the bride and groom celebrated their reception at the Saloon. Tables were draped in black linens and decorated with pumpkin and fall-inspired details; orange place settings complemented the decor. Guests enjoyed desserts that included carrot cake cupcakes topped with cream cheese icing, lemon cupcakes topped with vanilla icing and a classic tiered wedding cake accented with orange flowers. Hershey’s Kisses party favors were provided for guests to take home and enjoy as a memento of the day. JCM Party Rentals provided the linens and The Calico Cakery designed the cake.

The new Mr. and Mrs. Hughes and their guests danced to music provided by Party Pro Entertainment. At the end of the night, the couple was sent off through a light-saber archway illuminated by their attendants.
